I'm thinking of doing a short video of a particular theme.
Half regular people and half anime style view.
This idea came up to me and thinking of doing a video.
Right now I'm still coming up with a theme and a script to do it with some people in Otaku Club. :P

Citizens from the Fantasy World - Cosplay Documentary

An idea came up to my head after a family conflict I had yesterday.
Who are cosplayers? What makes a cosplayer? When does it happen? Where does it takes place? How are we influence by it? Why do we do it?
Why do we exist on this planet?
So what I'm getting at with this last night, is I think we need to express ourselves more than just slackers or shouldn't be called freaks by anyone.
I'm on my way to become a cosplayer but we should tell those who thinks of us as... freaks.
My idea is making a video about us cosplayers. With me being the artist in digital entertainment, this should work out.
So anyway here is the layout of how the video should be put together:
I need as many cosplayers as I can to make this into a video/picture documentary.
Anyone from around the world can participate, however the video is gonna be in English. Unless you can translate it for me, that'll be great.
What should be in this video:
Short intro about yourself. What makes a cosplayer? Why do we do it? How are we influenced? How can we utilize it today and the future? How do we see ourselves in this activity? Can we learn something from Cosplaying? Can we do something with cosplay? I need all the ideas that support this and give a reason to others that never experience this.
I want to be serious about this one so the world knows what we actually do and who (your occupation) is behind these characters. I know many don't take cosplay to a high level, but all of us are part of both worlds going back and fourth. I want this be more professional so be as much professional as you can be. Maybe some messing around but keep that to a minimal throughout the video. You can record this with you, your group (if you can) and someone to be your photographer/video recorder. The cosplayers have to talk during their portions of the video which I will align them up too. Some footage of activity can be shown but be approved and appropriate for all viewers.
I would like to be the editor and producer of this video.
Why do we love cosplaying?
I think this is something we all should think about. Think this through and be precise on what we do behind this activity.
