Yeah, I know this topic is extremely late, but did anyone else have the pleasure of watching this exciting gold medal game? Wasn't it just amazing!? I'm not a big hockey fan (though I'm starting to get more into it), but this game in itself was an amazing one to watch. As sad as I am that the US lost, I cannot say that I am ashamed of them one bit. They played their hearts out and that last goal to tie it up at the end of the 3rd period was INSANE to say the least.

Anyone else watch this game want to aid me in my squeeling of joy from it?

I thought Hockey was a canadian sport. lol. And we just play it for fun here.

Well, it's always joked that hockey is the official religion of Canada, but I'd say that the US has a pretty strong following, despite its media blackout from ESPN a couple years ago (or was it a decade? It's been a long time). The NHL is based in the US and is probably the biggest stage for hockey, but then again, I don't know enough to really say for sure.

So I take it nobody got to see this amazing game? :( What a pity...

YES!! I watched it!! It was AWESOME and INTENSE!! It was definitely worth watching! Both teams played a good game! It was hard to say who deserved the gold medal more because I think both were equally awesome to win the gold! :D
