I reeeeally want to go since I'm from Portland and this would be fairly inexpensive...
I've never been before. What's it like? |
|
Yeah! Me too! (Well, I'm from Washington, but it's close so.. yeah. xD)
I haven't been either. D: So I wouldn't really know. But if you wanted to look up details, I guess take a look at their website..? :3 |

I've looked at the website quite a bit, but the pictures don't really capture the atmosphere. So I wanted to see what others thought of it who have actually attended it :P
It looks sort of cramped, but that might just be the pictures. |

Ahaha, well it's probably not as small as Aki-con. It's pretty darn small. It's in Canada, and not even on the list on here. :P
Yeahh, but I want to go to as many Conventions as possible that are semi-close to where I live. Maybe uhm... Fanime, and AX? I don't know. California is a ways away too... xP |

haven't been to this one yet. i've known some people who went and they usually seem to have fun. plus i want to go to more cons, soooo me and my friends are saving up!!but considering k-con is significantly smaller than something like sakuracon, i'm also excited to compare their differences if i end up going :D |

![]() I've been going to Kumoricon for the past 3 years and I have my opinions... let's just say I was a little disappointed as to how crowded it was last year. But this convention has been growing in numbers exponentially, more and more people are attending and the space is limited. I wish they could just rent out the entire convention center downtown because it's pretty huge. But I heard that the staff are working on capping off the number of full weekend passes they're selling. I plan on just going for a day. My favorite memory from last year was the karaoke. It's on the very top floor of the Hilton where you can see most of the city and it's such an amazing view! And around 11 PM it was 21+ and they opened up a bar on the same floor. >:D oh yeah i have a picture! ^__^ (above) |
