Posted 10:01 AM 3/29/2010 Yeah, as you know Gackto, this was my first convention and, I have to say, it was very enjoyable. I mean, I'll be the first to say it: I'm not big on anime. I don't really watch much of it anymore and I couldn't even tell who most of the people were dressing up as. However, I still found it to be really enjoyable through my friends, the games, and all the new things I saw an experienced such as your guys' concert, the cosplays, and the events. Oh, and props to that chun-li cosplayer. That outfit was actually really good (I always play as her in Street Fighter). Even got her boots down haha. |

I have to admit this is easily one of my Favorite cons. it was kinda small but it felt a lot more friendly and open than the others i have been to. Plus I got yo cosplay for the first time [even if it was made in less than a day] as a Black Mage.

This con had a good vibe to it. I think people in Tucson were just excited for a con. It was ready for one. People were nice and from what it seems, there were not that may hiccups with the con so that is good.
It's one of those experiences that I only experience like once every five cons. There are so many pics on Facebook. I'll see if I can link some. |

I agree with Karu, we don't get much here but this con was definitely one of the best things Tucson has had. x) It was nice to just come and be surrounded by fellow anime lovers and not people who just want to prove who knows the most anime. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait for the next one! xD

Much bigger then the other few ive been to here, and had a higher excitement level as well :D cant wait till Kaigi and TuCon!

Finally something happens down here in Tucson! This con was very enjoyable and not as crowded and chaotic as other cons I've been to.

It was really niceee!. The ride down there(lol), staying at my friend's place, the convention, and hanging out with everyone was amazing!!!

it was worth the 2 hour ride back and forth my house! ahah
the friendliness of the people was a + factor :) definitely going back there next year 8D i actually spazzed out when i saw my favorite characters walking around LOL. i never did that in AX cause i felt like a creeper :p definitely one of my favorite cons, cant wait for the next AZ cons! |

While it was very small as far as cons go, everyone was super friendly and ready to party. I can tell alot of people had fun and the convention programming went smoothly. I wont be suprised if another one was planned for next year. |

I'm so happy I went to this con at the last minute. For a first time con it was pretty good I just think a few of the staff could have been more polite [but I guess that really can't be helped]. Big bummer that I could only come down Saturday and missed the Elevens concert and Code Geass gathering.
And I'm so sorry to all the people who shouted out my name at the con and I didn't recognize you in cosplay... v_v; Next Tuscon con we should arrange a big group hangout the Something Sweet dessert lounge! 8D |
