I want to go to Fumettopoli Comiconvention this weekend. Anyone going from Napoli?

I'm American and it will be my first time going to a convention in Italy. I don't what to expect. Even with a bablefish translation, I'm at a loss to all that will be there. Will I see a lot of cosplay there in general? Will I be ok asking a cosplayer if I can take their picture in English or should I learn the phrase in Italian? Anything I should know? Thanks
