Well, the debacle seems like it will conclude this week with Conan O'Brien leaving the Tonight Show while Jay Leno taking his show back. Man, the NBC execs really screwed this one up.

Though I'm wondering if Conan should have agreed to have the Tonight show moved back half an hour and keep his staff employed even if it meant a dignity loss and demotion. But hey, he is getting compensated 50 million dollars which is in addition to a huge severence for his staff. So NBC loses millions of dollars on Jay's new show, Conan's new show, ad revenue for low ratings, compensation for Conan, compensation for staff, compensation for everyone else that got screwed, and they lose Conan.

I think Conan should have stuck with the Tonight show. But it means now he can go to another network like FOX. Along with his 50 million. :) What do you think?
