I don't think I'm going to see Twilight right away. Only when my sis buys the DVD since she loves the books soooo much. She is even making a shirt of the midnight showing tomorrow night to wear. I would rather see Bolt! ^-^
While Pixar has a partnership with Disney, Disney has its own studio as well called "Walt Disney Animation Studio". So it would make sense for John Lasseter to step in as executive producer for the Bolt film since he is the cheif creative office of both studios. So Bolt really is done by the WDAS instead of Pixar(which the Bolt film isnt listed in their list of projects.). I cant wait to see how it turns out ^_^! As for the name Im not really sure, but I did search around. I think for now they will just keep it "Disney-Pixar" while Disney still has their own animation studio.

lax: Yea you do have some years on your before you graduate and go to college. So you have PLENTY of time to consider what your interested in. I know you said animation is not much of a thing for you, but let me tell you something my professor told the class today that may ease your thoughts about the class. He was telling us how one year he had a student who wasnt much of a draftsman(drawing abilities), but could animate really well! He said that you dont have to have the most amazing drawing abilities to be in the class, just as long you understand the principles of animation, then your good-to-go ^_^! Because in the animation business youll have your animators who do a great job animating, and then then youll have your team of clean-up artist animators that will refine each of those drawings.
So dont sweat it too much. If you do like to draw I would recommend you keep drawing, keep a sketchbook, drawing anything from life such as people, objects, buildings, etc. That way you'll feel more comfortable by the time you move onto a college or university. Again you do have some years on you so at this point the possibilities are endless as far as what major you want to pursue. So just have fun and explore ^_^! Dont be afraid to investigate a new medium, because you never know...you may like it later on ^_^!

Yea I want to see Bolt too! I didnt know this until my professor told the animation club and our animation class, but my professor went to the same college as the exective producer of the Bolt movie. Just a fun, cool little fact lol.
I'm not a fan of Twilight. Actually...I hadn't heard about it till the books came out. @Elite-thats good. I'm doing well. Got my big Katakana quiz coming up this week. I think I got those characters down. @music ninja-yeah, The Bond sequel was average. Lots of action, which is 2b expected, but overall..eh, good fun
I have made my glorious return! Work got crazy. I got to go to Nebraskon last weekend, which was a lot of fun. It was definitely more panel-intensive, which is nice after things like ACen where I don't make it to many panels. Plus, it was good to see the familiar faces. :)
lax: I miss "The Hobbits" :( But Ive met plenty mroe people here ^_^! Theres some awesome people Ive made friends with in my animation class ^_^ Were all a bunch of "nerds" talking about and doing our animations lol(In fact two of them were in the studio tonight 8D I was so excited to see them and we were all shooting our stop motions...sweeeeet!!)...I love it ^_^! I really hope to see them in future animation classes!

lol people are sooooo stupid!! I was watching bees nest videos on youtube and people were poking them, shooting them with paintballs, throwing stuff at them, etc. I was trying to see what their flying pattern was so I can animate 2-3 bees in my stop motion project tonight...nothing fancy....just black dots lol There wont be just dots thoough...there will also be a bear and a honeycomb that will transform into a killer bee! XD Yet ANOTHER long night for me tonight XD Everything is ready-to-shoot ^_^!
